Our Story

At Maid To Shine Utah, cleaning isn’t just about spotless countertops and freshly vacuumed floors, it’s about giving people their time back.
Founder Rachelle Candland began professionally cleaning homes in 2020 and quickly discovered a passion for serving others. Whether it was helping a busy family come home to a clean house, assisting an elderly client who needed extra support, or providing relief to someone navigating a difficult season of life, she realized the impact a clean home can have on a person’s well-being.
In 2021, Rachelle took a leap of faith and founded Maid To Shine Utah with a simple mission: provide reliable, high-quality cleaning services while treating every home with the same care and attention she would give her own.
The response from the community was incredible. Within six months, Maid To Shine Utah was fully booked, and as the business continued to grow, Rachelle’s husband, Chayse, joined the company to help meet the demand. Together, they built a business centered around trust, consistency, and genuine care for their clients.
Today, Maid To Shine Utah proudly serves families throughout Davis and Weber County. What started as one woman with a dream has grown into a dedicated team committed to making life a little easier for the people we serve.
We understand that life gets busy. Between work, family, appointments, and everything else on your plate, cleaning is often the last thing you want to worry about. That’s where we come in.
Our goal is simple: to create clean, comfortable spaces so you can spend less time cleaning and more time enjoying what matters most.

Giving Back to Our Community

At Maid To Shine Utah, we believe a successful business should help strengthen the community it serves. Through our Employee of the Month program, our team members help choose local nonprofits to support, allowing us to give back to causes that matter right here in our community.
Every home we clean helps us continue making a difference – one family, one team member, and one local organization at a time.
